Heritage Genealogical Research:

Dr. Julie K. Schellen is a current college faculty member who provides research help with pedigree chart compilation, vital records, land records, federal and state census records, court records, microfilm research, including LDS microfilm research, and cemetery/headstone photography. Dr. Schellen specializes in research help with lineage society applications, including but not limited to Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames of the XVII Century, Mayflower, Associated Daughters of Early American Witches, and Daughters of the Republic of Texas. She has served four terms as a DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) chapter Registrar where she has helped successfully complete over 200 DAR prospective and supplemental member applications. She has also served as a DAR Lineage Research Vice Chairman for the state of Texas. In this role, she has assisted other DAR chapter Registrars in the resolution of lineage issues on problematic applications.
